If you need less pressure for individual applications than is available in the main line, you need pressure regulators. Pressure regulators, also called pressure reducers, reduce the line pressure to the desired working pressure and keep it constant.

Important factors to choose a suitable pressure regulator are the primary pressure, the secondary pressure and the flow rate.

Pressure regulators can be divided into several categories.

  • Standard pressure regulators operate in control ranges from 0.1 to 16 bar
  • High performance pressure regulators have up to twice the flow rate of standard pressure regulators
  • Precision pressure regulators are characterized by particularly low pressure fluctuations
  • Special pressure regulators have a continuous pressure supply
